4/10 Tuesday What You Should Watch

10 Apr

A lot of new stuff tonight, Glee, Ringer, Cougar Town, NCIS and NCIS LA.

Body of Proof airs it’s season finale tonight, (maybe series) we will have to wait for the upfronts in May to see if it is renewed. Odds are its a goner.

Glee introduces us to Blaine’s brother, played by the delicious Matt Bomer, and answers the questions, “Did Quinn survive”. If you have been following the spoilers you already know the answer.

Ringer airs it’s second to last episode tonight, I don’t hold out much hope that it will be renewed, which makes me sad.  Interesting fun fact Ioan Gruffod was in the movie Titanic, went to see the 3D version over the weekend, and there he was saving Rose from he watery grave.

Catherine’s plan to drive a wedge between Andrew and Bridget falls apart; Agent Machado learns who has been trying to kill Siobhan; Siobhan’s plan to help Henry backfires.

Episode: Big Brother
Blaine’s hot-shot actor brother, Cooper (Matt Bomer), visits Lima.

Body of Proof

Episode: Mind Games
Megan comes face-to-face with a convicted serial killer she helped put away.

New Girl

Episode: Normal

4/3 Tuesday What You Should Watch

3 Apr

Ringer just keeps getting crazier and crazier, where it stops nobody knows.

The Voice, Fashion Star, Last Man Standing, Cougar Town and Body of Proof are new tonight, just to name a few.

We are 6 weeks away from the end of the 2011-2012 television season.

Time for the summer shows to start my favorites, The Closer, Suits, Rizzoli and Isles and Necessary Roughness.

Siobhan overhears when Bridget accuses Henry of murder; Catherine (Andrea Roth) desperately tries to get close to Andrew.

Body of Proof

Episode: Going Viral
As more and more people fall ill and die, the team must figure out how to treat the virus and who is spreading it.

New Girl

Episode: Secrets
When Jess learns Cece has been keeping a secret, their friendship is put to the test; Winston can’t handle being the only one who knows the secret; Nick asks Schmidt for dating advice.

Cougar Town

Jules, who wants a perfect wedding, gets worried when Travis wants to be their photographer; Bobby wants to take his relationship with Angie (Sarah Chalke) to the next level.

Tuesday 3/27 What You Should Watch

27 Mar

Ringer continues to pull out all the stops, Henry grew a pair, they finally gave Machado something interesting to do, it only took them half a season to give him a story. Andrew and Bridget made up, which means more heartache is on the way.  I can’t wait to find out of he knew the whole time and has just been playing along.

Tonight’s outing, “Let’s Kill Bridget”, looks like the thrill ride continues. If  the promos are to be believed, we have another murder, I am going with Olivia, Henry being interrogated for Tyler’s murder, I guess Shiv didn’t like that he gave the flash drive away. And Shiv confronting and shooting Bridget, I think thru the magic of editing we will find out Bridget is not on the receiving end of those bullets.

Judging by the sneak peak below Andrew has Fantastic healing abilities.

Bridget decides she won’t feel safe unless she testifies against Macawi; Machado’s actions get him suspended; Henry becomes impatient with Siobhan and gives her an ultimatum.
Also New tonight both NCIS and NCIS LA, Body of Proof and Unforgettable, both are soon to be cancelled. Fox‘s Tuesday night comedy line up is new, I Hate My Teenage Daughter has been dropped from the schedule, a repeat of Raising Hope will air at 8:30.
Dancing With The Stars has a recap show from 8 to 9, and reults at 9pm. Is half-pint going home?

Episode: The Good Son
The investigation into a petty officer’s murder leads the team to Director Vance’s brother-in-law.

NCIS: Los Angeles

Episode: Vengeance
When evidence in a Navy intelligence officer’s death points to a team of SEALs about to embark on a mission, Sam must interrogate the group, potentially compromising their operation.

Tuesday 1/17 What You Should Watch

17 Jan

Glee and New Girl are all new tonight. So come on get happy.  Celebrity Wife Swap is back with Tina Yothers, she played the youngest Keaton on “Family Ties“.

The CW is premiering a new reality show tonight called Remolded, I have no idea what this is about, but it is delaying Ringer’s return by 2 weeks. BOOOOO!!!!!

Episode: Yes/No
Will asks the glee club for help arranging a surprise for Emma; Becky locks in on Artie; Finn’s plans for after graduation surprise his friends.

New Girl

When Schmidt’s birthday plans fall through, Jess decides to put together a celebration; Nick brings a first date to Schmidt’s party; a $50 bill shows up in the douchebag jar.

Last Man Standing

Vanessa blames Mike when she finds out they were not invited to a neighbor’s party; Eve accidentally damages Mandy’s car.

Celebrity Wife Swap

Pampered city-dweller Niecy Nash trades places with outdoors-loving Tina Yothers.

Body of Proof

When a woman (Rita Wilson) suspected of murdering her son is found innocent, Megan and the team try to identify the real killer; an overzealous reporter (Marcia Gay Harden) makes the investigation difficult by sensationalizing the case.

Paul heads to Minneapolis, where he meets Brita Jackson, a modeling agency owner who has lost faith in her business; Paul and Olga select four models to audition for fashion week in New York

Bubble Watch – Bubble doesn’t mean cancelled – Maybe?

13 Nov

TV by the Numbers has updated it’s Bubble list, they have added Bones, Ringer, and Rules of Engagement.

Keep in mind Bubble watch seeks to predict what will happen to a show by season’s end, based on its ongoing performance.  Last year they predicted Fringe would be cancelled and it wasn’t, there is always hope.

Bones is on the bubble because, “it is an older show with ok ratings”. It is also airing a shorter season due to Emily’s pregnancy, to make up for it they are airing the Bones spin off  The Finder.  I remember the episode last season when they introduced the characters and the concept for the finder and I was not impressed.

Ringer, “it might be easier to just put all the CW shows other than the Vampire diaries on the bubble”, an excellent suggestion, but as the article points out not very practical. I suppose the CW could cancel everything but TVD and start over.  I would get rid of 90210 and Gossip Girl, before Ringer.

Here is a snapshot of each category, a link to the full article can be found below.
