But before you do, remember what my mother said, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.  I am not interested in a critique of my grammar, or the spelling errors I didn’t catch. If you don’t like it don’t read it.

Sunday May 27 What You Should Watch

Mad Men and The Killing

This season of Mad Men has been once crazy trip, LSD reference intended. I really hate Megan and can’t wait to see it all end, but how will Matt Weiner do it. Vincent Kartheiser has delivered a top performance, it would be nice if he finally won his much deserved Emmy. Not to mention Elisabeth Moss and of course John Hamm.  But I think this year’s Best Actor Emmy will go to Hugh Laurie, it was House’s final season and he has been nominated so many times without a win, he had become the Susan Lucci of the Primetime Emmy’s.

As far as The Killing, I really hoped it would improve over last year, it did pick up the pace a bit, but the red herrings and side stories ruin would could have been a great procedural drama.  If it wasn’t for the relationship between Holder and Linden I wouldn’t keep watching.

Mad Men

Don’s challenged by a pitch; Peggy considers a trip.

The Killing

Episode: 72 Hours
Sarah moves unsteadily; Stan tries to make amends; Richmond gets a boost in the mayoral race.
