5/4 Friday What You Should Watch

Fringe has two episodes left this season, that news is easier to swallow now that I know they have renewed it for a 5th season. Granted it’s only 13 episodes and it is the final. But at least they have an opportunity to give the show and the fans a proper ending.

Also new tonight Supernatural, I stopped watching for a season or two when they did that whole Dean/Satan storyline, but the last few weeks with Dick Roman and Bobby’s ghost have been really good.  The announced a new EP for next season, so even though they haven’t officially announced it has been renewed I can’t imagine they would cancel it now.

Blue Bloods is new tonight, thank goodness, because I need a Reagan family dinner.

Friday 3/30 What You Should Watch

Fringe is all new tonight, and after last weeks Peter and Olivia reunion I can’t wait to see what the show has in store for us the rest of the season. Tonight’s episode looks like it is more about the creature of the week than P&O.

Blue Bloods is back tonight, when are they going to get back to Jamie’s undercover gig, that is the storyline I am most interested in.

Also new tonight, Grimm, Supernatural and Nikita.

Nick and Monroe investigate when a shop owner becomes the victim of a grisly murder; Nick thinks he has found an ally; Sgt. Wu becomes entangled in Adalind’s plan

A hunter surprises the brothers with a request for help; Sam and Dean battle a Japanese creature that can be seen only by drunken people.

3/23 Friday What You Should Watch

Happy Happy Joy Joy Fringe is back!!!

The NCAA tournament continues.

ABC has shark tank, The CW has Nikita and Supernatural and Grimm is a repeat.

Did you hear Grimm has been renewed for season 2, no surprise there, it was one of the few succesful shows NBC has this season.

Top Spot: Fringe

After the heartbreaking cliff hanger of the winter finale I’m not sure I want to watch, but I must. Will Peter get home, will Olivia’s memories continue to fade and what new pearls of wisdom will Walter share.

After recent emotional events and shocking revelations, Peter considers his options; a killer targets love

Friday 3/2 What You Should Watch

This is folks, tonight is the night the last episode of A Gifted Man is airing, I am sorry to see it end.  Lets hope Patrick Wilson will be back on my TV next season.

Blue Bloods is new, they are finally getting back to Jamie’s undercover story. I hear it will dominate the rest of the season and I can’t wait.

Grimm is also new tonight.

TV News Round Up, Ratings, Grimm, Fringe Boss talks cancel and more

First Monday Night Ratings

Thanks to TV By The Numbers for the numbers

CBS won the night even though all it’s shows dropped compared with last week.  People could be getting ready for the holiday and have less time for TV this week.

Here is a breakdown

Top Show of the night, 2 and a Half Men 5.2 rating and a 13 share, It wasn’t as funny as last week, but still a good outing.

Second highest rated: 2 Broke Girls 4.4 rating and a 11 share.  Alot of gross out humor, used tights, cum jokes and vibrators. I guess nothing says Thanksgiving like skank humor.

How about the big twist on How I Met Your Mother. Google it I am not going to spoil it.

House stayed even, so did Hart of Dixie, Castle returned strong but their numbers could be adjusted down for Monday Night Football.

TV Line has a very interesting article about the fate of my Fringe, what is really important to note about this article, is it covers 7+DVR ratings and how those numbers are calculated into a shows overall performance.

7+DVR are the number of people who tape a show and watch it later, Fringe has alot of those, it was those numbers that saved it last year. The problem is advertisers don’t like those people because they are skipping the commercials.

And another sign that General Hospital really is going to get canclled next September, Kimber McCullough has announced she is leaving the show. Kimberly orginated the role of Robin Scorpio and has been with thw show since 1985. Earlier this month Johnathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer) announced he was leaving.  Look for more exits over the next few months.  Brian Frons ruined ABC daytime.  TVLine
